Out of surgery – Day 20
Just talked with the surgeon and Joan did well. She is in phase 1 recovery and I will be able to see her in about an hour. They now have the tissue they need to determine what happens next.

This is a fountain I would see heading back from my walk through the neighborhood in San Diego. This tree reminded me of the breezes and beauty of Hawaii. It has been a lovely time here in San Diego. We travel home in the afternoon.

We are headed to The Endocrine Society Annual Meeting tomorrow, Friday June 18th. We look forward to connecting with friends, while in San Diego. We return to Colorado, Monday evening - June 21st.
