Last night at the citizens meeting of a large crowd of people we learned that the firefighters had a very productive day on Monday. Some of the residents were told we could return after 6 pm. We jumped for joy and tears ran down our faces – You should have seen us all. There was more happiness in that auditorium than many have witnessed for a long, long time.

We drove to the house as was met by a Sheriff’s representative who said “Welcome home!” Once more the tears ran. We drove slowly through the canyon appreciating its magnificent beauty and so, so grateful to be returning. As we approached our home, once again, the tears were there.

EVERYTHING IN AND OUT OF OUR HOME WAS INTACT!

Oh, what great joy. Today we are packing up our things and our precious kitty cats – who have had their own tent – to drive home. We will have to empty the refrigerator and freezer and throw everything away. We are truly blessed.
