Peschiera, a lovely town on Lake Garda in Italy, was a stop we made en route returning from Verona back to Ljubljana, Slovenia, yesterday.
Later we stopped to have lunch in a small village in Slovenia. This is the view (below) from the outside deck where we were sitting. One of my favorites are Porcini mushrooms. Our friends knew the restaurant was featuring Porcinis this week and brought us there. We enjoyed them, eating and drinking non-alcoholic beer (never thought I would enjoy it before!) while surrounded by this beautiful scenery.
I must apologize to our friends for the mounds of hair that I am leaving in my wake in the car and everywhere I go. Soon there will be no more to shed.

So happy you are surrounded and filled with beautiful sights and sensations! Thank you for taking time to share your travel experiences!
Dear Joan,
How wonderful to be in Italy and Slovenia. I wish I could be there with you, Stu and Gregor. Your photo looks marvelous in front of the hotel. I love the wig. i am heading to Edinburgh on Friday to visit for a few days with Wendy and Bob before a Parental Brain meeting. Maybe you and Stu can make a detour?
Wendy and I will be thinking of you as we shop.
Much Love,
Emilie
