Day 17 – following “My Personal Call to Greatnes!”

This is a fountain I would see heading back from my walk through the neighborhood in San Diego. This tree reminded me of the breezes and beauty of Hawaii. It has been a lovely time here in San Diego. We travel home in the afternoon.

Day 16 – following “My Personal Call to Greatness!

So many have connected with me to share their stories – stories of all kinds, moving, deep stories of challenges that could have diminished them, but instead has fostered their strength of being. I thank each and every one of you for trusting that I would cherish your sharing. Indeed, I do, greatly! This morning [...]

Day 15 – following “My Personal Call to Greatness!

Arrived in San Diego last night. Today we walked along the water. How incredibly delightful to see the boats and so many people out walking – all ages, very young to quite older. Wonderful to see people moving so energetically. Then Breakfast at ”The Broken Yolk”  displaying flags of the countries competing in the soccer games. Much [...]

Listen to Joan reading her poem  Blog_6_17_2010 This morning walking the canyon roads I felt the invitation to release any fear or sadness that might be lingering in the backroads of my mind to the earth. It was a lovely invitation from the earth. In response I felt a lightness as the earth so willingly [...]

Day 12 – following “My Personal Call to Greatness”

Good news today – from PET/CT scan. The report states that no other site seems to actively take up glucose in addition to the lump and node already identified by biopsy. Ah, how the joys of the journey uplift one, so quickly!

Day 11 – following “My Personal Call to Greatness!”

Blog_6_14_2010   Listen to Joan reading the poem she wrote this morning Driving early this morning to get a PET and CT scan I kept wonering about “The Gift, disguised.” During breakfast after the scan I wrote this: The Gift Disguised Disguised as a biopsy, PET/CT scan, echogram, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation lies an unknown gift [...]
